MAG Giddings & Lewis, established in 1859, is located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  The company supplies a worldwide customer base with products and services designed to improve manufacturing productivity. Giddings & Lewis builds a broad range of large high-performance, horizontal boring mills, vertical turning centers and horizontal machining centers for manufacturers in a variety of industries, from small job shops to large OEMs in the construction, aerospace, energy and oilfield equipment industries.

Giddings & Lewis is now part of MAG Industrial Automation Systems (MAG IAS).  MAG IAS, Sterling Heights, MI, is a group of machine tool and systems companies with manufacturing operations on five continents.  It ranks as a leader in the global metalworking capital equipment market.

All MAG Giddings & Lewis machine tools are designed using a modular build approach.  Standardization reduces the time required to build machines and increases reliability.  Offering choices makes it possible for customers to configure the machine to their application.  Customized machine tools, delivered quickly is the resulting benefit.

Process optimization in all areas from design to assembly to machine installation is a driving force at Giddings & Lewis with Six Sigma providing the methodology.

Our manufacturing and application experience is now adding value for our contract machining customers. Large valves, gears and frames are just a few of the OEM parts we machine in our 463,000 sq. foot facility.
